As part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO) and its Member States, H.E. Eng. Abdennebi Manar, Director General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, received at the Organization’s headquarters in Rabat H.E. Ambassador Ahmed Nihad Abdel Latif, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Morocco.

During the meeting, the Director General commended the level of cooperation between ACAO and the relevant Egyptian authorities in the field of civil aviation, highlighting key activities and initiatives implemented by the Organization, particularly those related to technical cooperation and capacity-building programs. He affirmed the Organization’s commitment to further supporting efforts aimed at developing the civil aviation sector across the Arab region.

The Director General also praised the extensive expertise and distinguished professional track record of Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, the Arab Group’s candidate for the Presidency of the ICAO Council, noting that the Organization is working to provide various channels of support in coordination with Member States and through regional and international platforms.

For his part, the Egyptian Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the ongoing fruitful cooperation between Egypt and ACAO, stressing his country’s interest in strengthening this partnership and supporting the Organization’s efforts in serving the civil aviation sector in the Arab region.
