ACAO as member of the Safety Enhancement Initiatives Group SEIG has participated in the Safety Enhancement Initiatives Group SEIG/7, the National Continues Monitoring Coordinator (NCMC) the regional SSP oversight WS, which have been held in Amman, Jordan the 12-16 October 2025. The meeting has re-elected Dr. Mohamed Hushki representative of Jordan CAA (CARC) as chair of the SEIG. The meeting was attended by a total of fifty-seven (57) participants from ten (10) States (Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Yemen), and Three (3) organizations (ACAO, IATA, and ICAO).

The meeting commenced by the presentation of the statute progress of the safety enhancement initiatives agreed at the MID RASP 2023-2025. The meeting was an opportunity to share the latest amendment of the GASP edition 2026-2028 which is currently published after its endorsement by the ICAO A42 session. Additionally, the meeting has been apprised with the MID states progress on NASP. The meeting also agreed on the MID RASP 26_28 which has been aligned with the GASP 26-28. ACAO will align its capacity building program with the RASPs of concerned ICAO offices according to its member States accreditation, mainly the MID office having 14 common States, once these RASP been aligned with GASP 26-28 and endorsed by their RASGs.

The meeting was followed by another meeting on NCMCs their essentials roles in the USOAP. Then participants States shared their experiences in the USOAP as support for the other states.
A workshop on the regional SSP oversight has been held the 15 & 16 October.
