The Arab Civil Aviation Organization organized the 42nd meeting of the Security Committee in Rabat, Morocco, from 29 to 31 October 2025. Twelve civil aviation security officials representing ten member states of the organization attended this meeting both in-person and through virtual communication.

The meeting addressed the latest developments in civil aviation security, particularly in light of the outcomes of the 42nd General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The committee also discussed the implementation of its 2025 work program and the technical support and assistance program.

The committee adopted its workplan and priorities for 2026, along with the 2026 capacity-building and development program for member states.
