Graciously hosted by the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, the workshop on “Air Cargo Management” was held in Cairo during the period 19–23 October 2025. The workshop was opened by Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Mostafa, Air Transport Expert at the Organization, who welcomed the participants. The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Hisham Aliewa, Air Cargo Expert from the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The five-day workshop was attended by 30 participants from the Member States: the Republic of the Sudan, the State of Libya, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Morocco, and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
The course aimed to provide participants with the latest methods and procedures in air cargo operations, as well as the processes and regulations required by international systems, including ICAO and IATA rules and instructions. Participants were also provided with and briefed on the regulations governing the transport of dangerous goods, including the measures and conditions necessary to ensure the safe arrival of air shipments.
