The ACAO 54st Safety Committee meeting ASC/54 has been conducted in the ACAO HQ Rabat, Morocco, the 17_18 Apr 2025, under Hybrid form. Mr. Hicham Bennani Air Navigation Expert on behalf of H.E. Manar Abdennebi DG of the ACAO opened the meeting welcoming the participants.

The meeting was attended by a total of 13 participants (7 in person) from 8 States (7 Members and 1 Observer).
In addition to the review of the list of actions and decisions taken as result of the previous session, the meeting adopted a series of recommendations regarding the implementation of MENA ARCM (upcoming activities 7th & 8th meeting), the MENA RSOO (progress status report), as well as the 2025 training activities.

The meeting was also a good opportunity to provide sensibilisation on the new amendments of Annex 19, the SMM manual and the Safety Intelligence Manual that will be published. The meeting provided information on the integration of SSPIA into the USOAP system and best way to prepare it.
