The 2nd ACAO GNSS Sub-Group online Meeting – AASG/1 has been held the 13 March 2023, 08:30 to 11:00. The meeting has been chaired by Mr. Imad Jeddallah representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  The secretariat was ensured by Mr. Hicham Bennani Air navigation Expert within the ACAO. 

The meeting was attended by a total of 21 participants from 7 States and 2 organisation ICAO MID and ACAO.

Mr. Manar Abdenebi the Director General of the ACAO opened the meeting welcoming the participants and recalling the importance of the meeting which will tackle challenges on the GNSS within the region bringing up the need of updating the ACAO GNSS Strategy. result of the CNS/ATM study conducted by ACAO on 2015.

The meeting agreed on the main axes that should be the basis of the review of the new version of the ACAO GNSS strategy. The meeting agreed also on the distribution of the task between the GNSS SG members for the establishment of the 2nd version of the strategy.
