The second interregional seminar on “Innovation and Cybersecurity” took place in Marrakech from 5 to 7 September 2022, jointly organised by the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) (as the implementing body of the European Union-funded CASE II Project), the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC) and the US Transport Security Administration (TSA). The seminar was opened by HE the Minister of Transport and Logistics of Morocco, the Director General of ACAO, the Secretary General of AFCAC, the Executive Secretary of ECAC, and the TSA Attaché to North Africa.
More than one hundred (100) participants from forty-six (46) African and Arabic States, international organisations and industry stakeholders effectively participated and exchanged information and best practices during the seminar, which was animated by twenty-seven (27) international experts.
