The expert committee on the development of the work of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization holds a virtual meeting

Rabat- On the 7th and 8th of June, the committee of experts concerned with developing the work of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization held a meeting via visual communication technology, in the presence of 6 member States , namely, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Tunisia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, The Kingdom of Morocco and the Sultanate of Oman as observers.



The meeting was opened and chaired by Eng. Saeed Mohammed Al Suwaidi, representative of the UAE, who welcomed the participants and thanked them for their eagerness to participate and contribute thus to the success of the meeting.



Engineer Abdenbi Manar, Director General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, emphasized the need to developing the work of the technical committees, and enhancing the role of the organization in advancing the civil aviation sector in the Arab region, through the implementation of the work and tasks assigned to them during the 62nd session of the Executive Council, which was held in Rabat in December 2019. He also wished the participants in this meeting success and tangible results aimed at developing the work of the organization and the aspirations of the members of the Executive Council and the General Assembly. The meeting also reviewed the issue related to the establishment of draft job descriptions designed for the Arab Civil Aviation Organization ‘staff, according to the proposed organizational structure, which will be presented to the next meeting of the Ordinary General Assembly in its 26th session to be held in Rabat on 01-02 July 2021.
