Rabat – The Arab Civil Aviation Organization’ civil aviation security experts team held its fifth meeting through visual communication technology using the "Zoom" platform, on 25 and 26 November 2020.

Fifteen experts and representatives of the security sector belonging to the aviation authorities of each of the following countries attended the meeting: Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Tunisia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Iraq, the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Morocco.

During the meeting, the participants discussed topics related to the latest developments in aviation security, such as the draft guide for licensing security screening employees, following which a roadmap was adopted in order to develop draft-unified standards on licensing this category of civil aviation security workers in the field.
