The Arab Civil Aviation Organization organized in Rabat from 6 to 8 November 2019, a workshop on the protection of the civil aviation environment on the National Plan for Reducing Gas Emissions and the Carbon Compensation and Reduction Plan for International Aviation (CORSIA), in the presence of HE Eng. Abdenbi Manar, Director General of the Organization.

This workshop is part of the joint program 2022-2019 set between the Arab Civil Aviation Organization and the Regional Office of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for Europe and the North Atlantic (EUR / NAT) aiming at enhancing environmental capacity building.

The workshop, which benefited 14 participants, aimed to exchange information and experiences among countries in the field of environmental protection, the International Action Plans for Reducing Emissions (STATE ACTION PLAN FOR CO2 EMISSIONS REDUCTION), and the Carbon Compensation and Reduction Plan in International Aviation (CORSIA), as well as related mitigation measures.
