Rabat - The General Assembly of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, held its extraordinary session in Rabat on 2 and 3 May, in the presence of all Member States of the Organization.

The General Assembly established the final list of Arab States nominated for the elections of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization as follows: category II for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt by acclamation, and for the third category, the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Tunisia.

The General Assembly concluded by addressing a thank you and gratitude telegram to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
