Rabat - The Arab Civil Aviation Organization intends to organize a joint training course with the International Civil Aviation Organization on the implementation of the state safety system, from 22 to 25 March 2020, in Cairo - Egypt.

The course will provide an understanding of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) relating to the State Safety Programme (SSP), the SSP framework and its

components, and related guidance material.

This course will cover the following topics:

• ICAO SARPs Relating to SSP


• Acceptable Level of Safety (ALoS) Performance


• Performance-based Regulations


• Development of Guidance on ALoS and Performance- based Regulations


• SSP Safety Promotion


• SSP Implementation Plan

The course benefits aviation specialists and safety management, civil aviation safety inspectors, airline safety managers, and representatives of international and regional organizations in the field of accident and aviation incident investigation.
