in the framework of their cooperation within capacity building project, ACAO, IATA and ICAO organised jointly the “ON CREW RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (CRM) webinar” (Virtual), 20 June 2022 from 12h00 to 14h00 UTC.

The objective of the Webinar was to provide participants with an overview and update on CRM including the ICAO provisions on the subject as well as to inform about Competency Based Training & Assessment (CBTA) and its associated benefits and therefore, the competency-based approach would offer a more coherent, relevant approach to CRM.

The webinar program included inter-alia, the description of the evolution of the CRM to the CBTA including Evidence-Based Training (EBT) Competencies and Threat and Error Management, the CBTA opportunities as well as CBTA challenges.

The course targeted large audience from operation specialists from both regulators and aviation industries.

About 30 participants attended the course provided by 2 speakers from IATA & Emirates Airline and was facilitated by ACAO and ICAO officers.
