Rabat-His Excellency Eng. Abdennebi Manar, Director-General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, met, on Wednesday, March 09, 2022, at the organization’s headquarters in Rabat, H.E Engid Abdullah Abbas, Director-General of the National Civil Aviation Agency of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and his accompanying delegation, as part of a working visit.

The meeting dealt with prospects for joint cooperation and ways for the Arab Civil Aviation Organization to contribute to providing technical support and strengthening and building capacities of Mauritanian staff in areas related to aviation security and safety, air transport, air navigation, and environmental protection in response to the current and future challenges that confront the civil aviation sector.

In this context, His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Abbas ENGIDI stressed the role of the organization in promoting Arab cooperation, as it is a house of expertise that provides technical support in the civil aviation sector to serve the common Arab interests.
