Dr Ahmed Abdelwahab Mohamed ElMarady

Air Navigation Safety Oversight Inspector, Civil Aviation Authority, Egypt

Dr. Ahmed Abdelwahab Mohamed ElMarady received B.Sc. degree in 2007 and M.Sc. degree in 2015 in communication and electronics engineering, faculty of engineering, Cairo University. Furthermore, he received Ph.D. degree majoring in cybersecurity in aviation generally, and in air navigation systems in particular. His research interests include the cybersecurity and cyber resilience frameworks in the various aviation systems (aerodromes, air navigation, and airworthiness). Dr. ElMarady has been a Senior Air Navigation Safety Oversight Inspector�Air Navigation Engineer with the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, since 2012. Additionally, Since Nov. 2021, he has been nominated to be the chair of cybersecurity working group at Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO). On the global level, Since May 2022, member of the newly established ICAO cybersecurity panel, as an observer and was a member of ICAO SSGC-Working Group on ANS, as a subject matter expert. On the regional level, since February 2018, member of ICAO MIDDLE EAST office Working Group on cybersecurity in Air navigation services. Dr. ElMarady have published many research papers in high-ranked journals and conferences, for example in cybersecurity domain:
