Rachel Sowerby is Head of Cyber at the Department for Transport. Rachel's team lead on cyber policy and regulation for the transport sector and work most closely with policy colleagues in land, maritime and together with the UK Civil Aviation Authority as co-regulators for aviation.
Rachel's works closely with the transport industry to understand the risks and challenges they face as cyber regulations evolve. Rachel's previous roles include developing professional capability frameworks, information assurance, as a teacher and working in public speech writing.
